    Hi,

    I previously used Oswald fonts on my website (GP Premium theme + Generate Blocks). I’ve since removed them and have switched to Helvetica fonts instead.

    This has been fine for every page except my home page, which brings up this code, causing google fonts to load and slowing down my website:

    <link rel=”stylesheet” id=”generateblocks-google-fonts-css” href=”//fonts.googleapis.com/css?family=Oswald:200,300,regular,500,600,700&display=swap” media=”all”>

    After I disabled Generate Blocks, the above code disappeared, so I know that it’s related to Generate Blocks.

    I’ve checked every single block on there to make sure that none of them have Oswald selected as the font. I’ve also gone through the customiser and made no sure no fonts are selected as Oswald there, too.

    However, this issue still persists. Any idea how to stop Generate Blocks from trying to load Google Fonts?

    Thanks

    Hi there,

    GenerateBlocks will only load Google fonts if it detects that one of its blocks are set to use it.

    In this case, the “Follow in my Korea” buttons seem to have it set as their font.

    Hi, thanks very much. That helped me find it. There was no typography option for the social media icons as I’d turned off text for those, but when I turned text back on for the icons, there it was with Oswald. I’ve changed those now and everything is fine.

    Thanks for your help ??
