I notice that the most recent version of the plugin is loading remote fonts from the Google Fonts API. Is there a way to disable that? I do NOT use Google Fonts because I really do not want Google to be alerted every time I access the dashboard of my own website, but I see no way to disable this other than by hacking the plugin files.

Using Google Fonts on the Dashboard is bad for performance and it’s bad for privacy. (I do not need Google to be sent my IP address and user agent every time I access the Sucuri Security dashboard!)

Can we get rid of it, or at least have an option for turning it off?

at this time no but I have spoken with the devs and as soon as they return from the holiday, they will update and remove the API completely.

and using our own fonts again.

It looks like the Google Fonts are gone on the latest update, but switching to the Dashboard view still changes the font of the entire WP Admin Dashboard (including the left and top menus), so I’m wondering if there’s an unclosed tag somewhere on that screen.
