• Hello,

I activated and adjusted the Plugin Local Google Fonts for my website https://bookabrain.de. I also chose the option to manually check the Frontpage, so that the plugin can find all Google Fonts.

According to the plugin, it only seemed to have worked for 4 fonts. But despite the plugin stating that it locally hosted f.ex. Roboto, I can still see it in my quell code as being hosted externally.

Am I missing something, or is the plugin simply not able to detect all Google fonts on my website?

    Any advice is welcomed ??

    Best,

    Jana

    Hi There!

    Thanks for your patience!

Do you use any plugin for font optimization? I can see a reference to “ao_optimized_gfonts”

    Hello ??

No problem, I appreciate your answer.

Yes, I use the plugin Autoptimize, as well as the RapidLoad Power-Up for Autoptimize.

I would like to keep both Autoptimize and Local Google Fonts and have them work together without interfering with each other.

Could a solution be to exclude “ao_optimized_gfonts” from Autoptimize’s optimization process? In the settings, there is an option to “Exclude scripts from Autoptimize”. If you think that would work, what should I write in this field?

I also use the following speed-optimization plugins:

    • a3 Lazy Load
    • Async JavaScript
    • Flying Scripts
    • Force Regenerate Thumbnails
    • Optimus
    • Remove Query Strings From Static Resources
    • WebP Express
    • WP Super Cache

    thank you,

    Jana
