To explain further, the error message suggests the verification token necessary for GMC to confirm site ownership isn’t being recognized on your site. To address this error, ensure the verification token provided by GMC is correctly placed in the HTML of your website’s homepage. It needs to be within the
section for Google to detect it.

And now I have accidentally created 7 new sub-accounts with Google Merchant Center that only Woocommerce can delete. And none of them can connect
Regarding the accidentally created sub-accounts, you’re right that only a support staff can assist with removing them from your GMC. To move forward with this, please provide us with the IDs for the sub-accounts you wish to remove (but don’t send it here).
