  • Interesting. I’ve noticed a drop too. I’ve read about this change in how google has changed image search parameters and just attributed it to that, but if you were getting good results with All In One, I’d be curious if there’s a setting that needs fixing with this plugin or a way to configure it that I’m not aware of.

Hopefully someone can chime on further on this.

    Exactly, It′s really interesting.

I was talking to a friend of mine about this, and he says, his blog was receiving about 1,000 organic visits to his images 3 months ago when Google hadn′t change the images algorithm.

Then he installed WordPress SEO by Joast, and the visits to his images drop to almost 10.

So, I think we should discard the new Google images algorithm.

I don’t know how it was before, because I’ve not been using WordPress SEO very long. I’ve decided to use it because it is supposed to work good together with Nextgen Gallery.

I have 8 pages with photos. What I found is that the page-sitemap is showing the correct amount of images on my website. This amount matches with what Google webmaster tools reports that were sent. But it also report that only 8 images are indexed. This matches with the 8 pages with photos, and also with the fact that I’ve noticed that only the first image of these pages is indexed by google.

Maybe my issue is also related to your problems?
