  • yeah thats a new one.

    I changed my UA and pretended to be google on your site, didnt see anything that would cause that. Looked at some of your cached pages…dont see anything.

    your category archives arent using pretty permalinks either in google.

    Im curious, have you looked at other search engines? to see how they are indexing you?

    also, fix this:

    https://jmlumpkin.com/robots.txt

    that should NOT be a redirect

    also, this

    https://jmlumpkin.com/blog/robots.txt

    Thats in the wrong location.

    robots.txt files go at the root of your domain. Despite anything anyone else says. I havent even checked to see where wordpress puts the self generated robots.txt, when the blog is in a subdirectory, but if its NOT putting it in the root of the domain, it’s doing it wrong.

    From the horses mouth:

    https://sitemaps.blogspot.com/2006/02/using-robotstxt-file.html

    and btw, that may or may not be part of the problem. I doubt it, but it wont hurt to fix that.

    Hey;

    The same problem is happening on my site. Did anyone figure out what the solution to this is? Please help!

    Thanks!
