    Hi,
I want to know if it is possible to have the jtag script and split the cookies it calls in 2 different categories?

    If i understand correct
gtag will call a couple of analytics cookies. And 2 advertisement cookies(IDE and NID).

Is it possible that when a user only content with analytics that the advertisement cookies wont load?
    And visaversa.

And is this already possible with the free plugin?
And how to set this up?

    Hi @funkyj4ever,

If all these cookies are added by the same script, then you can only manage them with one category using the plugin.

@webtoffee So it isn’t really possible to split Google Analytics and google advertisement cookies…

The thing also is when using the cookie scan the scan does categories the cookies in different categories. Like doubleclick cookie advertisement and _gid to analytics cookie.
Both from the google jtag script.

So i dont understand why it is not possible to include or exclude cookies based on categories?

@webtoffee I just checked https://www.cookieyes.com/, and they managed to do this. Have the google analytics and google advertisement cookies seperate. I thought you where to same company?

    Hi @funkyj4ever,

You can achieve it using the premium version of this plugin by following the method mentioned in the article here if you are implementing the google ads and google analytics are implemented separately via gtag manager.
