Google Map div is blank

    Hi!

    Google Maps won’t show up in Events posts although the Maps link is good. Looking into the rendered code, I realize that the DIV is blank:

    I have reviewed your Google Maps not showing up page and set up a Google API key but it does not help. I have searched this forum but could not find a recent, relevant solution.

    This website runs WP 4.7.3, The Events Calendar 4.4.3, no cache, and is hosted at Rackspace.

    Please note that I am currently testing the FREE version in our general calendar but I am looking forward upgrading this summer when we launch our new training subdomain.

    Sorry to hear you’ve hit up against difficulties! I see the following error in the browser console:

    Google Maps API error: ApiNotActivatedMapError

    The advice provided by Google in such a case is:

    The Google Maps JavaScript API is not activated on your API project. You may need to enable the Google Maps JavaScript API under APIs in the Google API Console.

    Can you give that a try?

    Hi Barry. I tried to the best of my knowledge but it does not seem to work. Can you share a link of the console page where I should find that? Of course I would log into my account before browsing it.

    Alternatively please explain the path to follow from the Console home page.
