  • Hi,

I’m sorry you’re running into this issue. Hopefully we can get to the bottom of this issue and get those maps up and running for you soon so your customer can find you.

First, let me ask you which version of EM are you currently running?

Also, did you already add google map key under events > settings > formatting > maps > enable Google Maps integration =Yes and then put google map key under ‘Google Maps API Browser Key’

    https://wp-events-plugin.com/documentation/google-maps/api-key/

    Hello,
    thanks for the response

it will only creates problem when we are going to add any new location
otherwise it is working fine. we don’t know why this happens
    Appreciate your response
    Thanks

    Hi,

I see. So the map works with a single location only? Are you receiving any console errors? If possible, please provide a link to the site/page in question so we can inspect the page further.

Apologies for not having a more direct solution, but those Google Maps issues can be tricky at times and come from a multitude of reasons.

someone shared this steps and maybe you can try as well; you can try to edit the location under Events > Location > edit Location and then try to choose different country then click on any of the text box and then choose again the correct country once the map reloads > click Update

    Hello
before the update of em version it was working fine
we don’t know why this happens
and is it necessary to provide google Map key in google map settings
its very tedious when creating that key on google platform.

The requirement for a API key is something imposed in the last few months by Google.

Are you able to add new locations in admin?

Can you post a link to your site?

    Hello,
sometimes i will be able to add new location from admin
    and sometimes not

Is it always a problem with the same address used for a location? Or are you able to add the location if you try later?

    Thread Starter Prince_Dhaval

    (@shethdhaval)

    Hello,
we will be using different address.
but sometimes it is working and sometimes not.
is it the problem of google map api.
    Appreciate your response
    Thanks

It’s possible this is a conflict caused by your theme or another plugin. To check if it is, can you test with all other plugins deactivated and while running the default WordPress theme?

Usually, once the API key is working it keeps working. But it could be a conflict is stopping the key from being sent to Google sometimes.

    Just wondering:

Are you running a single blog or in MultiSite? I have ran into maps loading and not loading with certain settings in MultiSite. But before I go into that, I “need” to know. ??

    hello,
we are using it in a single blog.
it is working fine with firefox but cause problem on google chrome
is browser matters for Google map?
    Appreciate your response

Did you try testing for a conflict with your theme or another plugin (as suggested above)? It sounds like that’s the problem.

    yes we tested,
as I mentioned it does not create any problem on FireFox while switching from FireFox to Chrome then it creates the problem
is it any issue with the browser?
    Appreciate your response
    Thanks
