Google map marker only display in preview, not live

I put together a custom code to display a Google map with markers pulled from a MySQL database. The page looks as it is supposed to in preview – but when I publish the page the markers disappear on the live page and only an empty map shows.

I contacted both my hosting provider as well as Elementor and both came to the conclusion that the issue is with OceanWP (when I switch to another theme like TwentyTwenty the map works fine).

I am using Elementor Pro and the free OceanWP theme. WP and PHP are the latest versions.
