Google Map only shows after refresh

    Hi Patrick,

    It appears that you are loading the page via ajax.For instance, jumping straight to an event: https://www.public-health.uiowa.edu/prc/events/event/individual-strength-training/ seems to work first time.

    It’s probably because the script to load the map is not run when you’re loading the content via ajax. I’ve not considered how you might achieve that in that context either, so I can’t offer any advice in that regard.

    It was the funky page transition, which gives you the “waiting” animation while the page loads. That is an option of the theme, so I just turned it off (useless anyway) and that fixed it.
