When creating an event if I display the map, this is what I have in my console:

Google Maps API error: MissingKeyMapError https://developers.google.com/maps/documentation/javascript/error-messages#missing-key-map-error_.ab
util.js:209 Google Maps API warning: NoApiKeys https://developers.google.com/maps/documentation/javascript/error-messages#no-api-keys
util.js:209 Google Maps API warning: SensorNotRequired https://developers.google.com/maps/documentation/javascript/error-messages#sensor-not-required

How to solve the problem?

Hi,

Please navigate to Events > Settings > Google Maps API Key, and enter key.
Guide: https://developers.google.com/maps/documentation/javascript/get-api-key#get-an-api-key

Because Google API changes, we have added this option in the latest version, so please upgrade plugin.

I have created an API key and have entered it in the Plugin settings as described, but continue to see the error – https://longbarcorp.com/goodliving/event/back-to-school-back-in-shape/?instance_id=18

Hi Becky,

I do not see any error, it seems that everything is fine with your key, but one of the installed plugins causes conflict. Please follow the steps in the guide: https://time.ly/document/user-guide/troubleshooting/first-troubleshooting-step/

Thanks, for the reply Benjamin.
I deactivated all plugins and the problem did not go away. I have used this plugin many times with this theme (Virtue Premium), with no problems, but I changed to TwentyFifteen. The error was still there, so I don’t think it is the theme.

This might help others …
I did some Googling and found a thread that said to enable both the Google Maps JavaScript API, and the Geocoding API.

After doing this, I got RefererNotAllowedMapError. For this problem, I found Google console “Allowed HTTP referrers (web sites)” was formatted wrong. Removing ‘https://’ from the referral URL fixed my problem and maps are appearing on my website.
