• Hi,

I’m trying to display a map through the Google Maps API, but the map does not load completely but shows with errors. Also the zoom controls are not displayed properly. The developer console doesn’t register any errors.

Do you have any suggestions where the conflict might be? I am positive it is within the Cannyon theme. (I have created a child theme version of Cannyon, and have all the correct code in place. I have tested the exact same code on other themes and it worked fine).

    Otherwise, great theme!

    Many Thanks
    Chris

  • Hi, Chris
Happy to read you, because I’ve the same issue on mobile and dev team never gave me an answer.
I did the same tests and I’ve also created a child theme and a dedicated page for the map and also tried to not use a WP plugin to display a map and apparently map’s display start to be bad whith the wp_head() function in the php file. of course when I removed it the page is not nice at all … but the map was correctly displayed.
So like you, I’m convinced that issue is coming from CSS issue on the theme, but not good enough the solve it.
Hope this time we will find a solution.

Otherwise, I agree, it’s a good theme and simple to use. it’s a great job
    Many thks.
    Ollie.
