Google maps – dont showing up right

    Google maps in Slideshow does not display properly. I have set the settings exactly as described in the documentation, Geographic data. The map is displayed in dark mode and with the following message throughout the image:
    “on this page google maps can not be loaded properly”
    Can you help me, please?

    You need to obtain a google maps api key and enter it in the settings page.
    You can google (!) on how to obtain such a key.

    Currently there is a tiny issue on wppa settings page, as that you have to set in Advanced settings -> GPX the GPX implemenmtation to ‘External plugin’ to get the input field visible. Once you entered the api key, you can switch back to WPPA embedded code.

    Thank you very much, it works !! I would like to take this opportunity to thank you for an excellent app with an incredible number of customizations.
    I have used it for several years now and am very happy, have not found one that matches this.
