Google Maps is extremly laggy after update

    I am using MyListing theme and noticed that google maps loading and scrolling is extremly lagging after updating to an elementor version > 3.23

    Using a version < 3.23 this issue does not appear. It can definitely be reproduced by changing the elementor version.

    So I looked for differences in the .js scripts comparing the rendered site source code of two different elementor versions. I finally noticed that dequeueing / disabling “elementor-frontend-modules” solves the issue for the newest elementor version. This file does not exist in versions < 3.24. I could not find any negative aspects disabling this file. The site still works like it’s supposed to.

    Can you please tell me what elementor-frontend-modules is good for and why can it be disabled without crashing my site? Are there any negative aspects I am missing?
