Google maps not displaying on site

    I wonder if anybody can help or has had a similar problem. I followed the instructions from google about embedding a google map on a wordpress site. I copied the code and pasted it into a new page on my site, but when I upload it doesn’t convert this to a map, the page just shows the string of code from google (it doesn’t even shorten the code).

    Any ideas why?

    Did you switch to Text view in the editing screen before pasting the code? If you paste it in Visual view, WordPress will treat it as formatted text instead of markup.
