    I’ve got the plugin installed and generated a server API key for Google maps – I am seeing the map in the calendar event and venue editing views. However, typing in a valid address and pressing enter does not work. The marker always appears somewhere in the United Kingdom, and when I drag and drop it anywhere, the address bar reads “Cannot determine address at this location.” I can manually locate the marker where I want it and type the corresponding address into the address bar, but this is less desirable than the thing actually working the way it’s supposed to. Any suggestions on how to fix?

    Thanks,
    Ed

    @ed,

    Most likely something went wrong during the process of creation of the key. Please use the following link to create it

    I got the same issue, API key is ok, site is veryfied positively but still nothing happens when I enter the address.

    Hello Sona –

    Followed that link, answered the questions (Google Maps JavaScript API, calling from webserver) generated a new key and set up Calendar to use the new key, waited a few minutes. Now it works! So you were right, there was an issue with the key. Note to others, when you start to type a valid address in the location bar in the map, autocomplete should provide suggestions just like it does with Google maps in your brower. If you don’t see that, then it’s not working and you may want to try Sona’s suggestion.

    Hi Ed,

    Thanks for sharing your experience.

    GoodMorning, I have the same problem. I set up a Location correctly, but the popup of event load a United Kingdom address.
    Where I put the API Key in the WD Calendar Plugin?

    Thanks you.
    Best regards
    Giacomo.

    @giacomo016,

    You need to put the key in Settings menu. There is a field called API key. Please also use the link above for creating your key. Thank you.

    sorry, but I don’t see any field API KEY ??

    @giacomo16,

    If you don’t see API key option in Settings menu, it means you need to update the calendar plugin first. Thanks.
