Google Maps V3 API Update before May-19-2013??

  • I read this on my Google Developers area:

    Google Maps JavaScript API V2 Basics

Note: The Google Maps JavaScript API Version 2 has been officially deprecated as of May 19, 2010. The V2 API will continue to work until May 19, 2013. We encourage you to migrate your code to version 3 of the Maps JavaScript API.

    I continually using the geo ip feature in the Spy area of WASSUP that integrates with Google Maps.
    The WASSUP plug-in is by far my favorite for stats.
    Will the plug-in be updated for the V3 API? Or.. is it already?
