• Hello!

I have a problem with Google Maps. I have embedded some in my page and noticed the all off them are zoomed out on the page (see the link) despite being properly set up inside the page. To deal with the problem, I started with clearing catche and re-saving. When that didn’t help, I figured out one of my plug-ins must be be responsible for the problem. The things is that despite deactivating all my plug-ins (including Elementor) several times and activating them one by one I was still unable to find out which one was causing the issue. Every time upon saving maps were behaving as if a different plug-in was making them to zoom out. Has anyone ever experienced similar problem? Is it possible that is’s something related to WordPress in general? I am at my wits end and could really use some help.

  • Hi Karolina,

Will you try changing the zoom parameter that was added to the Google maps iframe src? It looks like you are using the following parameter: &zoom=16. Instead, please try adding this parameter to the end of the Google maps iframe src &z=8.

The whole iframe source will look like this:

    <iframe src="https://www.google.com/maps/d/u/0/embed?mid=1ZQHd-yoMNVLG0V0etXEjTh9U2HikE_N6&z=8" width="640" height="480"></iframe>

    Good luck!

Wow! For now it seems to be working. Thank you, Laura! I will leave this tread open for a couple of days more in case something changes again. For now though it really looks fine.
