Hi @renners
Firstly, I want to assure you that I understand your concern about the decrease in the number of active items in your Google Merchant Center account. It seems like this issue came up after you updated to Version 2.4.11 of Google Listings & Ads.
While it’s not common for an update to cause such a drop, there could be several factors at play. It’s possible that the update might have caused some temporary disruption in syncing your product listings with Google Merchant Center. However, this is usually resolved automatically within a few hours.
If the issue persists, I would recommend the following steps:
- Resync Products: Try manually resyncing your products with Google Merchant Center. You can do this by going to Marketing > Google Listings & Ads > Product Feed and clicking on Sync products.
- Check for Errors: Navigate to Marketing > Google Listings & Ads > Product Feed and check if there are any errors listed. If there are, resolving these errors could help restore your active items.
If after following these steps the problem still persists, please share a copy of the following:
- System Status Report: navigate to WooCommerce → Status. Select Get system report and then Copy for support.
- Fatal Error log: Share a copy of any fatal error log found under WooCommerce → Status → Logs.
You could copy and paste your reply here or paste it via https://gist.github.com/ and send the link here.
Just a friendly reminder that Google will take a product off a feed if it hasn’t been refreshed in 30 days. But don’t worry; the Google Listings & Ads extension has got you covered. It resubmits the product for you. However, it’s a good practice to keep updating your product with the latest information.
I hope this helps! If you have any other questions, feel free to ask.
