    Hi
I wanted to try this plugin as all in one google marketing and analytics. However I can’t get past this one particular error.

Site verification for merchant center account failed.
Without a verified and claimed website, your product will get disapproved. Click here to verify and claim the domain.

I followed the steps mentioned in the plugin to fix it. I removed my GMC account that I created previously and created a fresh account through the plugin. After that my site got verified but again after a while I got the same error. I did this 2 times and every time after creating new GMC account site verification shows failed. Never faced this kind of problem in other plugins.

    Hi @sparrow18,

    Thanks for creating this thread.

    There are 2 scenarios here:

First scenario – connecting an existing GMC: The “Site verification for merchant center account failed” message generally pops up when your domain is already claimed in some other merchant center account.

If that is the case you need to login into your merchant center account and un-claim the domain from the existing account. And then claim the new account via plugin and it should work fine.

Also, the message may also popup if you have only one merchant center account in which domain was claimed manually then you can refer to this FAQ to address the domain claim problem.

Second scenario – connecting a new GMC: Please make sure the domain is not verified & claimed in the existing GMC account before creating and connecting a new GMC account via the plugin.

Hope the above would help in achieving the domain claim via the plugin.

    Regards,
