Google News Genres is empty

    Hi. I configured plugin and sitemap-news.xml is working correctly. Unfortunately I cannot set Google News Genre during post editing. There is a separate box for that but the list of genres is empty. What could be the reason for that?

  • Hi, apparently the genres did not get created on activating the News Sitemap option. You could try deactivating the News Sitemap option, then saving the settings, then reactivating the News Sitemap again.

    if the Genres remain empty, please let me know ??
