Google not crawling site

    I created my WordPress site with a manual installation on godaddy hosting, (I used php 5) and got it up and running at whatevanhates.com and to test the search engine crawling, I searched the exact url of my site in google. It didn’t show any results. Can anyone tell me why this is?

  • Log into your blog and go to Settings -> Privacy. Make sure you have the top option selected.

    Do you have a robots.txt file? What’s in it?

    And finally, to truly know you’re best bet might to be to get going with Google Webmaster tools.

    Also, please note that Google does crawl the complete internet. So don’t expect it to even take a look at your website more than twice a month… unless your domain name is www.ads-software.com of course. LOL
