Google not seeing sitemap

I installed the Google was successfully notified about changes this weekend.

I received the messages, “Google was successfully notified about changes,” and “Bing was successfully notified about changes.” I then went and used Fetch as Google and got a message that my URL and its linked pages were crawled.

It’s now Monday afternoon, and when I go to Webmaster Tools, Google says my site has no sitemap (“no sitemap found”).

Additionally, when I do Google searches, I find results to my old .shtml pages, which were replaced by my new WordPress pages.
