    Hi @flizzywp

Nextend Social Login uses the OAuth2 API.
The Google+ API was only used in Nextend Social Login Pro Addon to get some additional fields using the Sync data feature, but it was also replaced with the Google People API.

So don’t worry, Nextend Social Login is already prepared for these changes. Also you can change the button skins with ones that comply with the
    Google Sign-In Branding Guidelines:
    https://nextendweb.com/nextend-social-login-docs/provider-google/#guidelines

    Ps.:
In the current version the default icons of the Google provider still show up as G+ when used the Uniform button skin. But it will be replaced with a simple G logo in the next release. Also we will replace the Google logo with a simple G logo.

    Best regards,
    Laszlo.

Thank you for the clarification. So basically I don’t have to take any steps and can keep the G+ button? I already picked the white Google style.

    Hi @flizzywp

Yes, as a Free user you don’t need to do anything else!

These changes only has an effect on your site, if you have Nextend Socia Login – Pro Addon installed, otherwise not.
In that case if you have it installed, you just simply need to activate the People API in your App.

    Best regards,
    Laszlo.
