Okay, so I have a problem that I cant find the answer to.

I have a site that has been set up with wordpress on Bluehost, everything is great, works wonderfully, nice and fast.

The problem is, that when I put a new post up in wordpress, it takes hours for the update to appear on the website. Now, I know that this is a cache time issue, or a refresh issue, but I cant find it.

What I need to know – how do I set up GPSS so that it automatically refreshes the cache when a new wordpress post is put up, or when a change is made to the website?

I looked on bluehost, the server side TTL is 14400 – but the instructions for GPSS say to leave it as the default. Also, how will that actually affect things when a new post is made? Is this the number I change?

Or, is there something in the GPSS that I need to set to have the cache update properly on a post – I cant find an option anywhere under the caching page, or the rewriters page.

Doing some new development on the site, so any real insights into this would be really appreciated.

Sorry, and one other questions – is there a way to bypass page speed service at all? I saw something about modpagespeed however as far as I am aware Bluehost does not have this mod installed so ?ModPagespeed=off didnt really do much, homepage was still cached even when I changed the theme …
