    I have enabled WooCommerce checkout and activated payment methods, including Credit Card, Apple Pay, and Google Pay. However, there seems to be an issue where only the Credit Card payment option is displayed during booking, summary, and checkout. Apple Pay and Google Pay are not showing up at any stage of the checkout process, making these options unavailable for our customers. Also for booking form I’m using Quantic Lab paid plugin, chauffeur booking system. Now they say they can;t help with this as it is WooCommerce related issue.
    I’m using?WooPayments?for checkout/ credit card and google pay please check this screenshot:?https://imgur.com/a/xQpOQhB

    @carolm29 Okay so, I have tried it out on booking form and yet again it doesn’t show option for apple pay or google pay even on storefront theme. So?

    I have changed theme back to astra. It’s a live website, I can’t keep storefront theme online for long. I have tried turning on and off plugins still no help, it’s same.

    Hi @scotlandtravel,

    This screenshot was on a booking product, or the dummy product?

    To summarize, if this is working with a default WooCommerce product (not a custom product like booking created by a third party plugin), then you can confirm the third-party plugin doesn’t support the express payment methods, like Google or Apple Pay.

    As I understand, you’re trying to get the Google or Apple Pay buttons to show up here?

    Direct link to the image: https://snipboard.io/asmDlu.jpg

    Kindly note this booking process is wildly different than the WooCommerce default purchasing flow. The checkout process is also different and using other templates, thus it makes sense that the additional payment options aren’t showing up.

    I even noticed that the way to pay for this bookings is it actually creates an order in the background and then redirects you to the pay now link, for instance, I just tried this and I got payment forms just on this step: https://scotlandtravelsolution.com/checkout/order-pay/24433/?pay_for_order=true&key=wc_order_CNs8NaacAMMxI. At this point an order was already created for it and sent to my email for confirmation and payment.

    The Apple Pay and Google Pay buttons are express checkouts meant to be displayed either on the Product page (unless certain conditions apply, such as the product having add-on fields, for instance), on the cart page and the checkout page (not to confuse with the pay for order page). I’m afraid that neither of these conditions are met with this booking process.

    In summary, this process isn’t compatible with the express checkout options.

    I hope this clarifies things.

    Hello,

    I’m encountering an issue with the free plugin called E-cab Taxi Booking Manager by Mage People. When I proceed to the checkout page, Apple Pay does not appear as a payment option, even though it is configured on my phone.

    However, Apple Pay does show up under certain circumstances: If I enter an incorrect email address on step 3 of the booking process and click “Place Order,” the system redirects me to the checkout page, asks me to correct my email, and then displays the Apple Pay option.

    This plugin meets the requirements of WooPayments for displaying Apple Pay on the checkout page. It seems that Apple Pay is only triggered by some backend check when incorrect details are entered.

    For more details, please watch the video below. Thank you.

    Hey, @scotlandtravel!

    Just to confirm, this is an issue with a different website, right?

    For us to troubleshoot this, can you please run the same steps you did with the other site?

    Please add a default simple WooCommerce product and check if Apple Pay shows normally.

    Also please check if the issue persists when using Storefront.

    Please let us know how it goes ??

    Have a wonderful day!

    Yes, it’s a different website:
    I don’t think, I need to follow those steps again as applepay shows when something triggers it from backend when wrong email is entered, Please watch full video. You need to understand that I’m using woocommerce’s checkout page, So it should show up properly.

    @omarfpg If you may please check my issue and help me solve it, I believe you’re most experienced in this and you’re only one who provides in detail reply. Thank you.

    Hi there @scotlandtravel

    With regard to this message, and the site at https://airporttransferfalkirk.co.uk/, the issue appears to be due to custom checkout fields – per the information showcased in the screenshot linked here.

    Kindly test with the checkout block, and see if the issue persists, or otherwise.

    There is currently a bespoke booking/checkout process in place. Therefore, feel free to reach out to that functionality’s support channel about this, as they would be in a better position to assist you.

    I trust that points you in the right direction, but if you have more questions, let us know.

    We’re happy to help.

    Hi, you mean I should contact with support team whose plugin, I’m using? They say they don’t provide support for woocommerce issues. From there end we have all options enabled for google pay and applepay, if applepay is showing then why not googlepay?
    Also, I have this custom css code on my theme for apple pay, can you let me know what’s the button id for googlepay that woocommerce uses?

    apple-pay-button {
    width: 200px;
    height: 40px;
    border-radius: 8px;
    }

    I think maybe adding a similar code for google pay button might fix it?

    Hi ,

    Thanks again for getting back to us.

    Hi, you mean I should contact with support team whose plugin, I’m using? They say they don’t provide support for woocommerce issues.

    As my colleague has mentioned, in this case, our hands are tied as we only provide support for the WooPayments plugin and are unable to provide any assistance with third-party plugins. I would recommend getting a different plugin for editing your checkout experience and try to see if this will display both GPay and Apple Pay.

    I have this custom css code on my theme for apple pay, can you let me know what’s the button id for googlepay

    I’m afraid this is out of our support scope. For development and custom coding questions, it’s best to ask for insight related to those on either the?WooCommerce Advanced Facebook group?or the?WooCommerce Community Slack. Many of our developers hang out there and will be able to offer insights into your question.

    Please let me know in a detailed message what should I convey to support team for this issue as they already said that issue is not from there side?

    I wish I could have the exact words to share with you, unfortunately I’m unable to find the exact words to use for the issue you’re facing. However, I would recommend sharing this thread with them so that they can get to understand the issue even better. Alternatively, you can run conflict tests with the support team to confirm that the issue is not with our plugin.

    I hope this helps. All the best.
