    Hi,

    In test or live mode for Stripe, my Google Pay (which I have been approved in Google Business Console) works fine in Google Chrome. Keep in mind my site is locked.

    In test or live mode in Safari or Firefox, Google pay DOES NOT work at all. I get the following message: “Unexpected Developer Error, please try again later”. I’ve cleared my cache, unlocked the site too but no luck.

    If it works in Google Chrome, I would assume Google Pay would work in all browsers. How can I fix this?

    Also, ever since the latest update, my Browser Payment button is also disappearing at Product Page in all browsers Chrome, Safari and Firefox, but Browser Payment button works in Checkout and Cart. Is this a known bug?

    I forgot to mention, Browser Payment button was only for Chrome and Internet Explorer I guess. So, so ignore my comment about it not working on Safari and Firefox. ??

    Looking forward to your response on my other issues.

    Thanks.

    Hi @rzurxn,

    The reason you’re getting that message Unexpected Developer Error, please try again later is because you must enable pop-ups in the browser that you’re testing. This is especially true of Safari.

    1. Thanks I’ll investigate that on both Firefox and Safari re: Enable pop ups.

    2. As mentioned in my first message, in Chrome, the Browser Payment option “Pay Now” at Product Page appears for 2 seconds, then it disappears. It happens most when I choose a variant then the Pay Now button disappears. Any suggestions? But Ay now button works fine at checkout and Cart pages.

    @rzurxn,

    Are you using the latest version of the Stripe plugin when you observe the Pay Now button disappearing when a variant is selected?

    I’ll try and re-create that on my dev site. Just FYI if you have GPay and Apple Pay enabled on your pages the Payment Request gateway doesn’t serve an additional purpose.

    Hi Mr. Clayton,

    Thanks for the response. Yes I have the latest version.

    Yes please let me know how you go with the dev site. Noted on Payment Request Gateway not serving a purpose if Gpay and Apple Pay is on.

    But the fact that pay now button still disappears at Product Page would be good to sort out.

    Hi @rzurxn,

    The issue you reported is a bug introduced in the latest version of the plugin. I just released a patch to version 3.2.3 that fixes it. That fix will also go out to version 3.2.4 when it’s released.

    Thank you for letting me know about this issue.

    Thanks for releasing the patch.

    How do I take advantage of this new patch since there is no version 3.2.4 yet?

    Do I delete the plugin and reinstall it? If so, do I lose all the payment information that I have entered for Paypal , Google pay etc?

    @rzurxn,

    You would delete the plugin then re-install it via the WordPress Admin plugins section.

    You won’t lose any information that’s been previously saved.

    Thanks. I deleted it and reinstalled.

    The Pay Now button is still disappearing at product page even after clearing my cache.

    I might give it another try later tonight or tomorrow.

    @rzurxn

    You’re welcome to share your site url and I can take a look. Even though you cleared your cache you will still get an old version if you’re using a cdn like cloudflare or a caching plugin.

    That’s most likely the issue.

    Kind Regards
