I cannot get Gooogle Pay to work. When I activate Google Pay, then it says this seller is not ready to use Google Pay. So I cannot take screenshots as well.

If I use Browser payments, then it works. But then it looks strange when they appear on the list of payment options at the checkout other than just the buttons on cart/top of checkout etc.

If you read the instructions at the top of the Google Pay Settings page you’ll see it explains you must have the plugin in “test” mode in order to take your screenshots.

Test mode does not require that you have your Google Pay merchant ID.

    Kind regards

Ah, OK. I have misunderstood the instructions. I thought I can do the test mode of Google Pay if I keep the merchant ID empty. Now I could take the screenshot.

But I might use the browser payment method. If so, I want only the payment buttons to be appearing on the cart/checkout etc pages and not on the list of payment method section (which shows only the title “browser payment” and icons, which I think looks confusing.)
Is it possible to do this?

With some minor custom development you can achieve that. Use the provided WC filters to remove the payment request gateway on the checkout page.

    Filter: woocommerce_available_payment_gateways

    Kind Regards,
