    Hello,

I have installed this plugin for Stripe instead of the one from WooCommerce as theirs doesn’t allow the button to show anywhere but the product page.

On this site, we aren’t using the product page so we want to show it on the cart and checkout.

I have set it all up as per https://www.webtoffee.com/google-pay-woocommerce/, but while the Google Pay button shows on the product page template, it doesn’t show when you get to the cart or checkout.

Is there anything that could be preventing that? Or has this feature broken or been removed since the tutorial above was written?

I definitely set it to show in all 3 locations for both Apple and Google Pay buttons.

    Please advise.

    Thanks

    Hello @one3rdnerd

Greetings from WebToffee! Thanks for reaching out to us on this forum.

The feature is not removed. It is definitely available in the plugin. Please check the problem on the Storefront theme to verify whether it is a theme-specific issue.

Okay, I retried it today on Windows + Chrome, and the Google Pay button is showing now on checkout and cart.

Strangely though, on iPhone, it shows Google Pay on the Chrome browser but not on Safari on iPhone.

I tried switching to the default WordPress theme, and I get the same result.

    So to recap

Windows + Chrome = Works in all locations, product page, cart and shop

iPhone + Chrome = Works in all locations, product page, cart and shop

    iPhone + Safari = Doesn’t show anywhere.

I have tested on my own iPhone and using LambdaTest with iPhone + Safari.

Any ideas why it would work everywhere but iOS Safari?

    Hi @one3rdnerd,

Thanks for explaining the issue in detail. It was very helpful.

The google pay button is not supported on the Safari browser. To know more about the payment methods and its supported browsers, please go through this article by Stripe.

Yes, I know Google Pay doesn’t work in Safari, but why does Apple Pay only show in Chrome and not Safari? Surely that should be supported?
