Google Plus will not post Featured Image
-
Hey guys,
So I have an issue with featured image posting to Google+ either manually or through auto-poster. Attempting to post as “text post with attached blog post” for the formatting most appropriate for the link.
In that mode, the Feature Image is not applied, no is the OG:Image applied. It takes an image deeply embedded in my page. If I go to the single post page itself, and uncheck the auto-image selection, it shows the “No Image” box and the other box is correctly my “Feature Image” which I select, and then re-post. Even then, the featured image isn’t posted, nor is the og:image, just the deeply embedded graphic.
When I post as a LINK, the correct featured image is printed on Google+ page, so it seems to be specific to the “text post with blog post” format. Also, if the image is in the post body, then it WILL print on Google+, but I only run with Featured Image and I can’t get the featured image into the body without affecting my format.
Lastly, if I simply paste the link of my single post page into Google+ directly, it does pull the og:image properly, so this is only happening when I’m attempting to post using SNAP.
Advice? My + page is linked below if it is helpful.
