Hi I’m trying to work out why google podcast shows me this messege when i try and view my podcasts

‘Content not available. We’ve restricted some content for people who aren’t over 18.’

my feed isn’t marked as explicit in your plugin

i don’t know to much about RSS feeds but i looked at the RSS feed Code and found

and 
<googleplay:explicit>No</googleplay:explicit>
```
and i looked at google documentation

and i noticed for the itunes:explicit it has values of

Values (case-sensitive):
- no (Default value, if tag is absent): This podcast does not contain explicit material.
- yes: This podcast contains explicit material.
where as you have written clean? is this a issue?

which suggests setting your age and adding a credit card to verify your age but i don’t want people to have to do this to listen to the podcasts when there not explicit in the first place

Hi there,

Are you seeing this via the web or on the app? Is it for all episodes, or just one? I don’t see that Google has marked your podcast as explicit, if it was marked as explicit, it would have an E at the end of the title when viewing from the web.

That said, I went through your podcast not signed in to Google (so my age wasn’t known) and wasn’t presented with any age-restriction notice. I might try reaching out to Google’s Podcast support if the issue persists, they may have erroneously flagged your content.

If you haven’t already, I would also claim your podcast with Google’s Podcast manager and check which RSS feed they’re serving. Google has been known to change the served RSS feed on their own.

Hi @m1k3w,

It looks like Apple has changed the expected values from “yes/clean” to “true/false”. Thank you for bringing this to our attention, I’ll make a fix for it in our next plugin releases.
