    Hello.

I set up a feed with the following settings and am wondering how I can assign the reviews to all variants of a (variable) product.

    • Channel: Google Product Review
    • Include product variations: yes
    • And only include default product variation: no
    • And only include lowest priced product variation(s): no

The plugin now creates a feed with all reviews.
    So far so good.

    Each <review> element contains a <products> element.
<products> contains the product/variant rated by the customer.

The Google Review Feed Schema Reference states the following:

If a review pertains to multiple products in the publisher’s inventory, then specify the review once, and include multiple <product> elements in the <products> element. The <review> element contains these elements in the order listed.

In my case, it’s about products that only differ in size.
    M, L, XL, etc.
A review should therefore apply to all sizes.

How can I set the <products> element to list all variants of the rated product?

  • Hi,

Thanks for using our plugin and reaching out to us.

Unfortunately that is not possible with our plugin. The plugin will create a review per product variation and is not capable of grouping them together.

Assuming the issue at hand has been resolved and our support is no longer required I am going to close this topic for now for housekeeping-reasons. Do not hesitate to reach out to us again when you need our help.

    Thanks for the answer.
Do you plan to offer something related to this functionality?
