The Google reCAPTCHA v3 does not work when I try to login from the pop-up [Click the login button on the top-right corner of the screen to open the pop-up]. However, it works when I try to login from the login page.

Please fix this issue. The reCAPTCHA v3 must work everywhere. When I change the reCAPTCHA v3 to the Built-in Math captcha, the issue is fixed. This issue only exists specifically if you are using Google reCAPTCHA v3. If you use something else like the Math captcha, then no problem is faced even when logging in from the pop-up.

    Hi,

Sorry but the popup is a custom login form and we don’t have support for it. The basic match captcha is just a simple text field so it works but reCAPTCHA requires some extra Javascript so it won’t work. You will need to find another plugin or implement a custom solution ??

    Hello @talextech !

I am using Nextend social login plugin as well. This plugin works automatically on the custom login pop-up of the home page. It is the problem of the Advanced Google reCAPTCHA plugin that it does not insert the Google reCAPTCHA v3 to the login pop-up.

I am okay with customizing the code in order to fix the issue. But could you please guide me on which files I have to modify to fix the issue. How can I make sure that Google reCAPTCHA v3 is displayed on every login form (whether default or custom) just like what is done by the Nextend Social Login Plugin (social login buttons are displayed on every form whether default or custom)?

I understand that it requires some extra JavaScript to achieve this functionality. Could you please guide me on what kind of code I have to write in javascript to fix my issue?

Sorry, that’s really not a 5 minute job ?? I’ll add it to my to-do but we have +20 plugins to maintain and doing any kind of custom coding/support comes last after we finish everything else.

It seems like your to-do list is very long. Huh?

For anyone who might see this error: “ERROR for site owner: Invalid site key”, with the Advanced Google reCAPTCHA plugin on WordPress, it helped me to double check to see if I had reCAPTCHA v3 activated in multiple places (example: Contact Form 7, WP Forms, Elementor, etc.).

I had reCAPTCHA v3 activated in Contact Form 7 and the Advanced Google reCAPTCHA plugin, and had to update the Keys in both plugins. The error was removed after that.

But the actual problem for which this forum was created has not been solved yet…

Unfortunately we can’t integrate with every custom login form. We do our best and use all the default WordPress hooks but if the custom form does not there is nothing we can do ??
