Hi there, as you see in the title Google Sopping and Google remarketing rejects all products with “on backorder” availability status. It happened today (yesterday I updated plugin), before that, everything worked well.

  • Hi arvet333,

That is correct. See the release notes of our plugin:

    5.3.8 (2019-04-18)
    – Tested compatibility for WooCommerce 3.6
    – Added the “on backorder” support for the availability attribute
    – Solved a bug where in some browsers field mappings could not be added or deleted

As you can see we added the “on backorder” value to the availability attribute to better reflect the WooCommerce status so you can act upon it.

You can solve this by creating a filter where you change the availability into “in stock” when the availability is “on backorder”.

    Hope this makes sense?

    All the best,
    Eva

Thanks, for the solution, it helps.

I’m having this same issue but the solution you recommend doesn’t appear to be changing the feed for me.

I set my rule (not a filter) up like this:
IF Availability CONTAINS on backorder THEN Availability IS out of stock

But when I refresh the feed and download it, I still have several products with “on backorder” in the Availability field. What am I missing?

    Hi strangechild,

Thanks for using our plugin and reaching out to us. We have tried to replicate the issue at hand but all works fine for us.

This is the rule we created:

Which works on all products in our feed.

    All the best,
    Eva
