Google Review Snippets Warning

  • Google sent me a message warning me that the Review Snippets data was incomplete. Specifically, that the review snippets are missing the field labelled “item”. Could you please look into this? We are going to have to remove/disable this plugin if it is not resolved, Google has flagged almost every page on my website.

    I have a few testimonials on every page, use the auto insurance page: https://gilbertinsurance.com/auto-insurance/

    The permalink for one of the reviews is https://gilbertinsurance.com/testimonial/susan – I can’t send the image/screenshot of the error that Google gave me, but hopefully this will help. Please let me know if you can fix this soon.

    In the rotator settings there is a ‘Name of Item Being Reviewed:’

    Do you have anything in that field?

    Hi Hal, thank you for your quick response. I have added the name in the “Name of Item Being Reviewed” field and have submitted the pages to Google for review. I will update this thread once I know the results and if this fixed the issue.
