Google says I have page and I can’t locate it on my site

    HTTP Error 404

    I received a message from Google and it said they cant locate the page on my site called https:/www.policecrimes.com/police.html and it might hurt my rankings.

    I have made no such page called .com/police.html – where is google finding this page on my site, if I didn’t make it?

    Where can I find that page on my site?

    I have made no post and only have about 20 pages and none of them have the url .police.html

    Update now when I go to .police.html there’s a site map there?

    You posted about this earlier and you were answered there.

    The URL clearly exists on your website, as was mentioned to you in the earlier thread.

    If the responses to that thread don’t fully resolve your issue, kindly respond to that thread to continue the conversation there, instead of opening a new thread to start all over again.

    If I don’t get a new response from my first post how long do I wait to ask the question in the future?

    FYI – When I type in the URL and try to edit the post, I get this message: “You attempted to edit an item that doesn’t exist. Perhaps it was deleted?”

    So obviously the page isn’t on wordpress.
