• Hey Guys, thanks in advance to all,
Im running with some issues and im only guessing hear, but it think wordfence is blocking google from crawling in my site.
iv submitted my site and sitemaps to search console a week ago the sitemaps where approved but im getting 54 crawl errors and im not sure what causing this.

is it possible that wordfence is blocking? iv checked the settings and as far as iv seen its ok but who knows im not an expert.
    dis somebody had same issues?

    side notes:
im using siteground as my host and they said that the problem is not from there end
iv disabled wordfence for checking but i dont know if changes take place immediately.
im using yoast for all sitemaps and generating robots.txt

hope someone can give a clue thanks in advance

  • 3 things to check –

    1) Make sure you have the “How should we treat Google’s crawlers” option set as “Verified Google crawlers have unlimited access to the site”.

    2) Make sure there are no Google addresses blocked in the Block list.

    3) If you have country blocking enabled, make sure US is not enabled.

    Hey thanks for the reply,
Iv checked all setings and all as you mentioned.
i dont know why its happening.

Maybe put the Firewall into “learning mode” and see if that makes a difference?

The other possibility is that maybe the blocking is occurring before Wordfence is even put into play – check your htaccess file, maybe?

    Hey thanks again,
    Iv done some more research:
1.iv disabled live traffic as one of the articles advised il will put a link later on
that took out the error i had with robots.txt. thats a step ??

2.i think most of my server error where accruing because iv been using for some of my pages non English url end that resulted in this typed of ending
    https://www.example.com/product/chesse/%d7%91%d7%97%d7%99%d7%a8%d7%aa-%d7%a6%d7%91%d7%a2:

so now iv marked those pages as problem solved on search console and il check in a few days if the problem resumes or not. hope it wont!

3.further more iv nonindex the post pages because im not using any blog. because some of the errors came throw: /feed/ endings and i dont use the post it all.

il notify for any changes so if its working hopefully it will help people in the future ?? cheers for the concern grate day bro
