Google Search Console microformats.org Data Errors

  • Hi,

    First – I love your theme! Thank you for such a great theme, I really enjoy using it.

    I’ve started looking at my website on Google’s Search Console and I’m seeing many errors on categories (archives) and posts for missing Author and Updated data. The source of the errors is in the microformats.org structure.

    All of my Google searched on how to fix this issue point to asking the developer to provide a fix.

    Could you please provide a fix for this? ??

    Hey sorry for replying late, if you are still using the theme, can you please give me some more information about what the errors and link to your website, so I can see the errors myself.

    Hi Sayed,

    Thank you for the update. My site is bettermeforlife.com but you won’t see the errors there. I see the errors in my Google Webmaster tools under Search Appearance–> Structured Data. Some of my category pages and blog pages have errors in this section.

    For example, this URL:

    https://bettermeforlife.com/kiwi-orange-apple-green-smoothie/

    shows these error in the Google Webmaster tools:

    hentry (microformats.org)
    Missing: author
    Missing: updated

    It’s strange, because only 8 pages seem to have these errors out of the hundreds I have. Somehow something went wrong with them.
