Google search console Missing field “location”

    I have checked the event and it does have a location set which “online”
    Google reporting

    “Missing field “location”

    Items with this issue are invalid. Invalid items are not eligible for Google Search’s rich results

    I have seen this has been reported before but couldnt find what the resolution was.

    Hi @phillalf,

    That’s not a bug. Note that you don’t have a physical address for your venues, so there’s no location set for your event and Google is just alerting you about that.

    We do support online/hybrid events, but only when using the Virtual Events add-on.
