Google Search Console reports hundreds of soft 404s with parameter wordfence_lh=

    and on and on in Google Search Console tools, all just display a blank page when clicked on.

    This seems to have been mentioned many times on this forum, but none of the answers seems useful. Please can somebody definitively answer how to turn the Live Traffic OFF. I don’t like Google reporting hundreds of soft 404s on pages but there seems to be no ability to turn it off that I can find (only to hide it from the menu, but it still continues to work within Tools if you look there).

    This is a very serious issue as if Google is reporting soft 404s with this then that means it isn’t liking it and therefore could have very serious SEO consequences.

    If you have the latest version of Wordfence installed then to disable Live Traffic you can switch the Traffic logging mode to SECURITY ONLY mode.

    Or, you can use the constant described in the link below:

    https://www.wordfence.com/help/advanced/constants/#other-features

    Please note that you cannot completely disable the SECURITY ONLY mode as Live Traffic is used by other parts of the plugin.

    Thanks so much for your help Gerroald,

    I have added:
    define(‘WORDFENCE_DISABLE_LIVE_TRAFFIC’, true);

    in wp-config.php and will monitor and report back what I see in Google Search Console Tools (although that will take a while to catch up with reality!)
