Hi, I received a warning from Google Search Console to correct the type of Events markup because I’ve missed the “performer” field. Does it not correspond to the organizer field?

    Thanks a lot

  • Same for our site all identical error with events. Performer. Offers etc. Google Console saying fields are missing although optional. Fields are not shown in the plugin. Screws up Google Search presentation on our site. All thoughts welcomed.

This is indeed an issue. We are getting this from Google

You requested that Google validate your fix of Events issues on site https://www.XXXXXX.org/; specifically pages affected by ‘Missing field “performer”‘. However, we found that some pages are still affected by this issue.

Same issue with location, location.address, name, startDate flagged as ‘errors’ for Event type rich results. Using Event Calendar and Event Tickets. HTML on the page is the standard TEC fields like ‘tribe-venue’, ‘tribe-venue-location’

Looked a bit deeper and found that the events flagged for location and location.address are all past events that we archive. Current events have been flagged for ‘performer’ though.

Are these events that are being flagged still listed as rich snippets in a Google search of your site?
