    Hello,
I’m using WP Zoom recipe cards + Yoast SEO plugins for my foodblog. However, I found out that the search results in Google does not show any picture or other meta data in the results. Do you think the reason might be that I’m using both of these plugins? Or any other ideas?

It does not work both on phone and on desktop. I always try to search some name of recipe + my website name. I try to search the old ones, that should be already indexed.

    I will appreacite any help.

    Thank you.
    Jana

    @thefoodspiration Hello Jana,

It seems that you are also using the following plugin to register the Recipe Structured Data in your recipes:
    https://www.ads-software.com/plugins/schema-and-structured-data-for-wp/

We recommend using just the Recipe markup (Schema.org) registered by our plugin and disable that plugin. It only creates problems as the registered markup is incomplete, while the one registered by our plugin includes all the needed details.

    Hello,
Thank you very much for your response.

I disabled the mentioned plugin. And the Yoast SEO is ok to use together? And another thing that came to my mind that could be a problem as well – I do not fill all of the fields in the recipe cards. I do fill the required ones, of course, but I don’ add video, because I don’t make them, and I do not fill calories.

Thank you again for your help.

    Kind regards,
    Jana

@thefoodspiration Yoast SEO plugin has a different purpose, so keep it active. It doesn’t create any problems when using in combination with our plugin.

It’s also ok to not fill in all available fields, as your recipes will still be indexed by search engines even if you don’t add a video or other optional fields.

Ok, thank you for your help! Hopefully in a time, when Google index the pages again, it will be correct.

    Kind regards,
    Jana
