Google Service Exception Thrown

Hi, I need help please. Quite recently I am getting this error message – Google_Service_Exception thrown

Error calling GET https://www.googleapis.com/youtube/analytics/v1/reports?ids=channel%3D%3D4UAd4Cg8iK43dliJLNBD8Q&start-date=2016-11-12&end-date=2016-12-12&metrics=views&dimensions=day: (403) Access Not Configured. YouTube Analytics API has not been used in project 476657326880 before or it is disabled. Enable it by visiting https://console.developers.google.com/apis/api/youtubeAnalytics/overview?project=476657326880 then retry. If you enabled this API recently, wait a few minutes for the action to propagate to our systems and retry.

Anyone who can help, please point me in the right direction please. I have researched the issue on Google, but i am more confused. When I go to the url it suggested to go to enable the Youtube Analytics API, it tells me the The API “youtubeAnalytics” doesn’t exist or I don’t have permission to access it. Please help.
