Google showing errors with Blog and Blog Posting Schema

First of all, thank you for building this plugin. It is helpful.

Secondly, when running https://search.google.com/structured-data/testing-tool on a blog post and not having the Blog Posting Schema Type enabled, 3 errors are detected on the “Blog” type. Thinking the error might be because we hadn’t enabled the Blog Posting Schema Type, we enabled it. That didn’t correct the problem, it actually added to it as seen here – https://smb-infogroup-dpr.d.pr/E9kj.

1. If the Blog Posting schema is not activated, why does the “Blog” error even take place?
2. If the Blog Posting schema is activated, why doesn’t it correct the 3 errors?
3. If the Blog Posting schema is activated, why is “Publisher” not a supplied attribute in the code that is output?

It appears https://www.ads-software.com/support/topic/how-to-get-blog-posting-to-work/ might be similar.
