If I link my website via google site kit, is it valid as google consent mode v2? Because it seems to be the easiest way to connect.

    Hello,

    Thanks for using our plugins.

We are not sure so we recommend testing this.

Your development team can check the integrations and inspect your GTM scripts using Google Tag Assistant to see which tags are fired and how your tags operate.

Alternatively, our plugin also offers the standard GTM integration method that we recommend for non-technical users because the standard method only requires you to add your GTM ID inside of the ‘Integrations’ tab within our plugin.

    Hope this helps.

I’m the website developer, but I think this part is still quite difficult for me.
If I integrate via google tag manager in the standard way, is my google consent mode v2 valid?
In this case, when integrating with google tag manager, is it not necessary to integrate with site kit?

    Hello,

We agree, the Google Consent Mode v2 is a very advanced method.

If you use the ‘Integrations’ tab within our plugin, then we believe that you don’t need to use the Google Site Kit anymore.

    Hope this helps.

From March 2024, the use of Google Consent Mode v2 will be required to access audience segmentation and performance measurement features, so it is mandatory.

The way the pluggin requires GTM to be activated is quite complicated.
My question is that if I activate GTM in the standard way, it is valid for google as google consent mode v2, and this question has not been answered.
I intend to buy the pluggin for several websites.

    Hello,

Our plugin supports the Google Consent v2 natively. You can use the ‘Integrations’ settings to achieve that:https://www.dropbox.com/s/xpd2ltd8scle6t3/screenshot-16e.png?dl=0
however, the Google Consent Mode v2 requires an advanced setup so it is for experienced users only.

More information about Google Consent Mode v2 is provided here:

    Hope this helps.

    Hello,
I have already set it up as you say, but google does not validate my consent as you can see in the attachment.
What else do I have to do? The pluggin is not part of the Google CMP Partner Program, is that why it doesn’t validate?

I did a test of my site and the result is that I am not compliant with the european union, and I put the google account as you said. Does the pluggin really work?
