Google Site Kit and Google analytics not working

    Hi together

    I am using Google Site Kit and Google Analytics, but I can’t connect to Google Analytics. There is nothing to choose ant it is impossible to configure Google Analytics.

    I created in Google Analytics an account with two Properties, which will I use in Analytics

    Hello @klwild thanks for opening a support topic. From the screenshot you have shared I can see that there are a couple of accounts that you can choose from. Are these not the accounts you are expecting to see? If you select one of these accounts are the Analytics properties for those accounts pulled through and displayed? Feel free to share a recording of this experience which will help us to see what is happening here.

    Have you ensured that you set up Site Kit with the correct Google account that has access to the Analytics account/properties you wish to use? If not then you can perform a Site Kit reset and set back up with the correct Google account. Let me know if you have any further questions on the meantime.

    1. Accessing your site with an incognito browser to see if the same happens?
    2. Following the troubleshooting steps here which will highlight any conflicts if there are any causing this.

    Note the site: fauxpas-blog.com is now working fine after your effort, the site: klaus-wilde.ch (the same provider) is still not working.

    @klwild Do you have the same plugins installed on both sites and when following the troubleshooting steps?here?on klaus-wilde.ch did you still get the same issue?

    Do you see any warnings or errors when checking your Site Health status (Tools > Site Health > Status), which differs from your Site Health?

    I made everything exactly the same on both sides (in parallel) and it was exactly the same on both sides. Exactly the same plugins are installed in klaus-wilde.ch and fauxpas-blog.com and there were no warnings either.
    I don’t know what differences there are, but there must be some.

    Hi, I’ve been having issues with Google Site Kit lately. Whenever I click on the login button, it redirects me to choose an account, which I do. After that, it prompts me to allow permissions, which I also do. But then it just redirects me back to the homepage or sometimes shows a 404 error. I’ve tried resetting the kit and clearing my cache, but the problem persists. This has happened on three different websites so far, and I’m not sure why. Any suggestions on how to fix this?

    @klwild Are you trying to connect the same Analytics properties to both sites or different ones? Do you see any console errors on the site which you are facing issues with?
