Google site kit not detected newly created GA4 property and views.

    Until yesterday I used Google Universal Analytics property. Yesterday I tried to create new Google Analytics 4 property, and the site kit was successfully created. However, the site kit is not detecting the newly created Analytic 4 property. But Google Analytics web shows the newly created GA4 property and view.

    Then I reset the Site Kit data, wiped the Redis cache, and deactivated and deleted the plugin. Also, wipe Cloudflare cache and Nginx cache. Then again installed it and tried to login in. But again site kit is not detecting the newly created property.

    I recently changed the names of the Google Analytics properties for two of my sites, but the Site Kit plugin drop-down menu is still displaying the old names.

    What could be the reason? Is Site Kit cached my previously configured data?

  • I am also having the same problem. My GA4 property has been collecting data for months now and SITEKIT was displaying UA data until yesterday. Now the panel only shows the old data. I can’t get it to show GA4 data. I’ve tried clearing the cache, deleting the plugin, but nothing works.

    1. Your Site Health information. You can use this form to share privately if preferred. 
    2. Did you create the GA4 property you wish to use through Site Kit or your?Analytics account?
    3. A recording of the experience you face in Site Kit. You can use a service such as Loom to capture and share the video URL here.
