    Hi

    Thanks for the great plugin.

    I was using Google Forms to use as my contact form. (I run a holiday accommodation site and had a Google Form widget next to each holiday accommodation page so that people can enquire about the home from the current page they are at).

    This contact form 7 db plugin gives me all options I want but one; it does not write the form data to my Google Spreadsheet. I know I can download the new data from CF7 DB to a Google Spreadsheet but I want to push it a little further and ask that the Google Spreadsheet becomes the database. This writing new contact form entries to a Google Spreadsheet.

    I am willing to pay for such functionality ??

    With the so-called “Google Live Data” export you get approximately this. If you are not familiar with it, it does not push the data into a Google Spreadsheet. Instead you create a function in the Google Spreadsheet that pulls the data out of your WP database.

    The advantage is that you don’t have to manually push data when new data arrives. When new data is posted, it should automatically be shown in the Google Spreadsheet. Your SS can also be private.

    The data still lives in your WP database. the Google Spreadsheet just acts as a window into it. You put in a piece of code into the SS that allow it to log into your WP site and access the data. It will refresh intermittently.

    One limitation is that the Google Spreadsheet does not allow you to manually trigger it to refresh. It just seems to refresh (pull new latest data) whenever it wants to.

    Going back to the original question, if you already have a Google SS/form, this is not supporting dumping new data into that existing SS. Although perhaps a Google SS macro could be written to do that, I think that would be tricky.
