    Hello,

Here is the context: I had connected a conversion tag on my google ads with your plugin a few weeks ago and I had activated it, but now that my site is ready to advertise on google Ads my tag has become inactive, probably because I had no conversion during the previous weeks.

Now I’ll explain the problem: I can’t reactivate my conversion tag, I tried everything, but even Google’s TAG ASSISTANT only detects the Remarketing tag that I installed with your plug in, it never detects my conversion tag, yet I made several test commands, I disconnected and reconnected the tag, it still does not work.

    So how to do?

    Hi

Wehre do you see that it is inactive? Is it here (image)?

If yes, then the following describes what’s happening and what you can do to re-verify.

Each time a visitor buys a product he would reach the purchase confirmation page at some point. That’s where the conversion pixels are fired.

Each time the Google Ads conversion pixel is fired it sends data to Google Ads. If and when that happens the diagnostic report from above will tell you that the “last seen” value is a recent date. The “last conversion recorded” date on the other hand can be an old date. It will only show the date where Google Ads is able to attribute the conversion to an ad click.

If the “last seen” date is old, older than the date of the last visit of the purchase confirmation page, then there is some kind of problem.

    – You might not have entered the correct conversion label or ID
    – There might be a custom purchase confirmation page that is redirecting to a page where the conversion pixels are not fired correctly.
    – etc.

Depending on what’s causing it, this would need to get fixed.

If by inactive you mean something else than what I’ve shown in above image, then you’ll have to explain me in more detail what you mean.

    Hello,
I just fixed the problem, I had done the test commands with my macbook Pro and I think apple blocks the sending of data…

I tried a test command with a Windows device and the conversion was saved in the tag within hours.

I think we need to find a solution for the recording of data for apple devices, because it can block some of the conversions that can be useful.

If conversion pixels get blocked by the visitors, for example by deactivating JavaScript, unfortunately there is nothing we can do about it.

On the bright side, it’s not Apple devices in general that get blocked. Only a fraction use script blockers.

In your case I’m not sure what happened. If you test, it is important to follow the testing procedure exactly: https://docs.woopt.com/wgact/#/testing?id=test-order
